形态描述
体前部粗长，圆筒形，略平扁，后部侧扁。头宽圆，平扁。口下位，弧形。唇光滑，下唇中央略凹。须3对（吻须2对，口角须1对）。眼退化，外观已不存在。前后鼻孔间有短距，后孔大，前孔具短管。体无鳞，前部有数个侧线孔。背鳍活时体半透明，略带肉红色，鳍透明。固定后体灰白色
